PITCHSIDE BARRIERS

We are very pleased to announce that we have again successfully renewed our FA Charter Standard Club status.

The club were initially awarded with this status back in November 2003 and have had successful renewals in November 2006 and now in December 2009.

This award is due to the continued efforts of the club committee who work tirelessly behind the scenes to promote the standards set out by The Football Association.

From November 2009, you will see our new pitchside barriers deployed at all home games. All team managers have been asked to tape off both sides of their pitches. Your co-operation is required to ensure that all supporters remain on the right side of the barriers whilst games are in progress.

As part of our ongoing committment to providing FA quality coaching we have arranged to the following training courses;

Gary Steward - U15A (Feb 2010)

Wayne Grant - U10T (June 2010)

SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN WORKSHOP

Paul Richer - U15A (Jan 2010)

Scott McDonagh - U11 (Jan 2010)

This will not only provide players more room around the perimeter of the pitch, but will also aid match officials providing them with a clear view of the touchline areas.

Our club has been awarded the prestigious 'Website of the Year' award from the Essex County Football Association for 2009.

Our website has been regularly updated since it was first constructed way back in November 2000, and provides up-to-date information for all club members, their families and supporters.

The site and its content is constantly being reviewed and updated with relevant news items and now provides full access to club documentation. We are currently working on some new content items for the site, which we hope to announce soon.
