PITCHSIDE BARRIERS
CHILDREN IN NEED - Update
From November 2009, you will see our new pitchside barriers deployed at all home games. All team managers have been asked to tape off both sides of their pitches. Your co-operation is required to ensure that all supporters remain on the right side of the barriers whilst games are in progress.
As previously advertised, all match subs from our players over the weekend of 21st/22nd November 2009 was donated to Children In Need.
A total of £100 has been pledged by our players, which contributed to the staggering amount of over £20m that the event raised this year!
This will not only provide players more room around the perimeter of the pitch, but will also aid match officials providing them with a clear view of the touchline areas.
FA CHARTER RENEWAL
ECFA WEBSITE OF THE YEAR WINNERS - 2009
Our club has been awarded the prestigious 'Website of the Year' award from the Essex County Football Association for 2009.
Our website has been regularly updated since it was first constructed way back in November 2000, and provides up-to-date information for all club members, their families and supporters.
The site and its content is constantly being reviewed and updated with relevant news items and now provides full access to club documentation. We are currently working on some new content items for the site, which we hope to announce soon.

The club was awarded the FA Standard Club Charter Award in November 2003, and we have worked tirelessly to maintain and promote those standards set out by The FA ever since. We successfully renewed our Charter status in
2006 and are currently working towards a further renewal later in 2009. The Charter allows us to maintain a safe, friendly and educated environment for young people to develop and to enjoy their sporting experience.
