BBC CHILDREN IN NEED

The club will be getting in on the fundraising front when BBC's annual Children In Need event kicks off in November.
The club will pledge all match subscription payments from every player of all of it's teams collected over the weekend of 21st / 22nd November to this great cause.

ANNUAL GRAND CHRISTMAS DRAW 2009
The date for our Grand Christmas Draw has been confirmed as Sunday 13th December 2009. Tickets will be distributed amongst all club members by the end of October.
Our top prizes will be as follows;
1st £150, 2nd £100, 3rd Luxury Hamper. Plus there will be numerous other prizes up for grabs.
Our club has been awarded the prestigious 'Website of the Year' award from the Essex County Football Association for 2009.
Our website has been regularly updated since it was first constructed way back in November 2000, and provides up-to-date information for all club members, their families and supporters.
The site and its content is constantly being reviewed and updated with relevant news items and now provides full access to club documentation. We are currently working on some new content items for the site, which we hope to announce soon.

The FA Tesco SKILLS Programme
The club was awarded the FA Standard Club Charter Award in November 2003, and we have worked tirelessly to maintain and promote those standards set out by The FA ever since. We successfully renewed our
Your child can receive free football skills coaching during the school holidays (excluding Christmas) with professional FA Skills Coaches.The sessions are open to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 11 years old. To find out more information visit the dedicated FA site here.
The FA Tesco Skills Website will go live on 27th July, you will then be able to book your child/children into the August Summer Holiday sessions.

Charter status in 2006 and are currently working towards a further renewal later in 2009.

Many thanks to all of our club members for their co-operation with our recent collection of redundant mobile telephones. We collected over 100 handsets which has helped to raise a total of £327 via Foneaid for the club.
In addition, Foneaid will also forward vouchers to spend at Argos to the value of £100 to reward our efforts.
