During the winter months or at times where the district experiences inclement weather conditions, team managers should call the pitch hotline each Friday evening for council updates on pitches for the ensuing weekend.

FastCard is issued free to users of Basildon Council's sports centres and swimming pools.

As a standard FastCard holder, you will be entitled to:

- Online Bookings - fastcard will enable you to book squash, badminton, short tennis and raquet ball sessions online at Sports centres, from the comfort of your own home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. FastCard holders - see online bookings

- Advance Bookings - You can book any court based activity session up to 7 days in advance and you won't have to pay until you come in for that session.

- Whereas, without a FastCard sessions must be paid for within 48 hours of making the booking. FastCard bookings can be made in person or by phone or online at any of our Sports centres and swimming pools

- Easier Payments - As a FastCard holder the minimum limit for Credit / Debit card payments does not apply.
